For a useful correction request
Send the exact CarCodes page URL and the sentence or data field that needs review. Include a manufacturer, NHTSA or other primary-source link if you have one, along with its document date and vehicle scope. A dashboard photo can be helpful for a general explanation, but avoid sending a full VIN, license plate or personal repair documents unless necessary.
CarCodes cannot remotely inspect an individual vehicle or tell you it is safe to drive. If the car has a severe warning or abnormal braking, steering, temperature or power, follow the owner manual and seek immediate local assistance instead of waiting for an email reply.
