Research coverage

The source-linked registry currently lists 38 makes and 209 model-name or document-scope records. Only models with a year-specific configuration source appear in the home selector. A model listed in a manufacturer communication does not prove that every year, engine, warning or code applies to it.

Use the make hub to see which model-year pages have evidence and which names still need a manual. The absence of a model-year record is a research gap, not a statement that the vehicle was never sold.

Historical and specialty makes

The make pages below show one officially recorded model-year sample each. They do not claim a complete sales history, a matching owner manual or a code that applies to every vehicle. The former Hummer make is separate from the GMC Hummer EV, and Maserati is a specialty make rather than a discontinued brand.

VIN and fitment limits

A decoded VIN can help identify year, make and model, but may leave engine or options unconfirmed. No cross-product of every model and every code is generated here. Open recalls require the official VIN lookup, and part compatibility requires the current manufacturer catalog and exact retailer SKU.
